Assessment Made Easy

Artful Evaluation is a service provding organizations the ability to create and administer educational juried art assessments and exhibitions.

Unlike typical online art jury services that cater to arts and craft shows accepting entries from anyone, Artful Evaluation is tailored to organizations providing Art Teachers a way to showcase their students.

Typical Uses

• School Districts: Invite or require your visual art teachers to submit their students' artwork for feedback and recognition. Publish and promote public shows of the highest scoring artwork to foster advocacy among adminsitration and the communitiy.
• Museums: Enhance your educational outreach by working with local schools and art teachers to promote your Student Art Exhibits. Having teachers submit their students' artwork will increase participation and promote continued enthusiasm and art appreciation.

How It Works:

1. Someone from your organization will sign up for an account as an Organization Administrator
2. That Organization Adminsitrator will set up Exhibitions, and send a link inviting art teachers to subit their students' artwork
3. Teachers will login, click on an exhibition, fill out the information about a student, and upload the student's artwork.
4. Parents will sign and return a release form which has been automatically generated based on the specifications set up by the Organization Administrator. You can opt for the teachers to track the release forms returned, or you can require they be sent to the Organization Administrator for tracking.
5. The Organization Administrator sets up accounts for Judges to login and judge the artwork, giving each work a score based on your rubric and optionally provide comments and feedback to the teacher.
6. Works can be marked as "Accepted" individually or automatically based on a minimum score. A link to the public show with all "Accepted" works will be provided to share publicly.
7. Download Full-Size artwork files of the "Accepted" works, and Excel Spreadsheets with all the entry data, scores, and judge comments from all entries.

Pricing

We offer yearly subscription plans based on the number of teachers you anticipate on particpating, and the total number of entries across all exhibitions all year. All subscriptions are upgradeable, so feel free to start small and upgrade to a bigger plan later if you need to.

Artful Evaulation is a project of the Center for Fine Arts Education, a professional association management company that specializes in serving the needs of visual art and music teachers. The marjority of our staff members are former teachers or practicing artists with college degrees in fine-arts related areas.
